Hi, I'm Nicole Commisso, founder of Tierra Septic. I am a Certified Environmental Health Professional (CEHP) with a passion for helping homeowners, contractors, real estate professionals, and businesses navigate environmental health and onsite sewage treatment system requirements throughout Florida.
Before starting my consulting practice, I spent five years with the Florida Department of Health, working in onsite sewage treatment and disposal system programs across Lee, Collier, Hendry, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. That experience gave me extensive knowledge of Florida regulations, permitting processes, site evaluations, and septic system requirements.
I hold a bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and a master's degree from the University of Florida—both in science-related fields that support my work in environmental health and regulatory compliance.
